Spend money on job creation

I was appalled to learn that we gave $10 million just to host the Red Bull Air Race. How much money is the city of Detroit kicking in to this project? After all, they will reap the benefits in sales and admission charges on their side of the border.

I'm hoping that we Windsorites will get free admission to this event or, at least, a free pop and hotdog. We should get something for this fiasco.

I feel this money would have been better spent on other projects like creating jobs or bringing a new sport to the area, like frisbee disc golf.
